Half a day trips from Barcelona

Half a day tour that will take you to three cellars of the Penedès area where you will find out the elaboration of wine and cava (Catalan sparkling wine), and taste them.

ITINERARY

Departures every Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday: from 1st April 2011.

• 8.30 h Departure from / Salida de Barcelona

• 9.45 h Guided tour and tasting in / Visita guiada y degustación en Jean Leon

• 11.15 h Guided tour and cheese and wine matching in / Visita guiada y maridaje en Bodegas Torres

• 13.30 h Guided tour, cava tasting and catalan tapas in / Visita guiada, degustación de cava y aperitivo en Freixenet

• 16.30 h Arrival in / Llegada a Barcelona

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

• Fully equipped coaches.
• A courier travels on board throughout the trip.
• Languages: Catalan, Spanish and English.
• Tours run: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday, from 1st April 2011.
• Departs at 8.30am from Plaça Catalunya (in front of El Corte Inglés). Passengers should arrive 20 minutes before the coach departs. See map
• Arrival back in Barcelona at 4.30pm (Plaça de Catalunya).
• Itinerary: Barcelona - Bodegues Jean Leon (winery) - Bodegues Torres (winery) - Caves Freixenet (winery) - Barcelona.
